NYC rabble day trip to Celebration of Celts

I'd still like to go, but I'm going to be a game time decision, based on a number of factors. So, I'm not really a dependable ride, and I'd be staying overnight anyway.

Afraid I can't offer a ride yet since I am more than likely taking my truck which is only a two-seater and I still don't know whether I'm taking my son or not. If I can take a rider it will be a last minute offer.

How can one get to Chatham by public transpiration?

I don't think you can. There doesn't seem to be any bus lines from NYC that go there. Amtrack to Hudson gets you in the area, but not close to Chatham. Perhaps there's a way to get there from Albany, but we're talking hours of travel time...
