I'm not a military person, but there have been several threads on that. Each branch of armed forces has its own protocol, of course, but there are guidelines for the wearing of the kilt, I believe, in each branch's Rulebook. Do a search here and see what you can come up with.
Have you ordered any kilts yet?

Ah, I see. I figured as much.
I should be making my first kilt purchase next Friday (payday...) Been working OT so I can justify it to the lady in my life. Of course she's happy I'll be kilted so I don't know why I need to justify it!

Cool! Know what you'll be ordering?
Btw, another member of the forum just got married last month and shared his wedding album. Here's a link to the photo showing the handfasting. Made me think of you!

I *think* I've decided, but I'm not quite sure.
I'm probably going to get a 16oz. Strome in MacDonald modern. Although I'm trying to decide if 16oz. will be too much for the heat here (even though I'd like to get stationed somewhere colder.) And I'm also trying to decide if I want MacDonald or MacMillan.
My mom's side is MacDonald, and my dad's side is indirectly MacMillan. I really like the MacMillan hunting modern though.
So many choices, so little money!

I'll have to look that one up. SA is the closest "tourist" area to us. Being Texan, you know all the sayings about Oklahoma, so we don't really head up there very often. NM is too far away, and LA doesn't have much.
Texas is just too big sometimes.

Yeah, it's been about 8 months since I've been "home." Too long if you ask me. It's so beautiful up there compared to TX, (no offense you native Texans..)
