I have never been embarrassed to wear the kilt. I am simply wondering what the general consensus is on whether or not it is prudent to wear one in such a venue. I only have the one...lol. Unlike many of you fortunates, I don't have a closet full of casuals, semi-formals, and formals...lol.
I am leaning on wearing it though as it is who I am.
Go for it t,you will probably meet others wearing the kilthis is the one night of the year when you should wear a kilt if it needs cleaned after it will have been worth it wear it proudly!

If you're worried about the potential hazards of beer and other unsavory things getting on your kilt, then consider investing in a low cost one. A wild partying, chase the ladies, pub crawling kilt in other words.
