Last year, The Bear Tartan was discussed in Riverkilt's thread, "The Tartan of Pride" Then the discussion was moved to Aldisimo's thread, "The Bear Tartan" I think it had come up before on the forum, though; just as a little history of the discussion.

Also, Chris (aka "beartartan" on XMTS), the creator of the Bear Tartan design, had just become a member here(I partly influenced him to join) and he explained a little bit of how the tartan came about. See Post #5 of the thread here.
