This morning we went to Black Creek Pioneer Village. It is a Living History Village that depicts Canadian life in the year 1867 the year of Confederation when Canada became a country. As it is St. Patrick's Day I wore the Ulster Scot Tartan. This week families can enjoy activities such as riding on a horse-drawn wagon ride, learning about how maple syrup was made, uncovering our past with archaeologists, watching puppet shows, listening to musicians and much more. It was a fun day for all and was very busy, I was talking to one of the ladies that worked there and she was saying they were worried because they have not opened for March break for 15 years so they just hoped someone would show up. There was a very long line so it looks like it was a success. Here are the photos I got.
