There's someone giving away a kilt to a newbie that has none, and is broke. Check here and see if it will fit!!

I haven't been able to get a hold of a tape to measure my true waist. I wear my jeans sort of low at a size 32 waist; my true waist would be smaller than that. I think I may have trouble finding a secondhand kilt.

I'm not too good at sewing (I can fix holes, but it doesn't look pretty.), so I'll have to see if I can talk someone around here into making a kilt for me using that kilt pattern.

EDIT:
Just found a tape, my true waist is about 31-32 inches. If I were to pull my size 32 pants up that high, they'd be way loose; I think the numbers are smaller as a marketing ploy (my jeans waist should actually be 35 inches).

Burnett's and Struth has a sale on casual kilts... The MacNaughton kilts they have are smaller sized and may fit you quite well! Give them a look-see! I think they are approx. $140...

EDIT: I'm an idiot... They're $300 CDN..... a little off.... lol

I'll second Stillwater Kilts. Two of my three are Stillwater. I just ordered a Stillwater Thrifty (about $30 US) in the MacKenzie tartan. This will be my first Thrifty, but since I'm currently on a weight loss program I thought the velcro waistband would give me some more life out of the kilt.
