This is one of my favorite photos. You've all seen it before.

The pipe is a Lorenzetti Nero, Rustcated bowl, 1/4 bent stem. It's my work pipe.

I'll try to get a picture tomorrow since I have finally basted my Tweed Kilt that I'd like to pose in.
I did, however, want to post about a new tobacco I just tried.
Shawn has suggested a nice Tobacconist to me that's just a little to far for me to cycle, so I went to the local Tobacco Connection to see if they had anything worth buying.
The closest they had to the blend I was looking for was called 'Proper English' though they had no idea who made it. (I looked it up and found it was Peter Stokkebye.)

It is HEAVEN!!! It comes very close to the Dunhill 965 which I have tried and loved before but is a lot cheaper. The flavour is strong and it has a lovely aromatic sort of quality but is by no means overwhelming. I'd happily recommend it to anyone.

Shawn, if you haven't tried it I'll share some with you when I see you next.

    Exclamation New Social Group.

    Hello all,

I just wanted to announce that a new group has been started called KOOPS, Kilted Order Of Pipe Smokers. I thought this would be a good place for those of like mind to gather and share information about pipe smoking and be able to ask questions as well that other group members might be able to help with based on their experiences.

    Slainte!
    Shawn

    Update...

Finall got a piccy of me with Pipe AND kilt... From a recent trip to the Okeefenokee for my daughter's birthday. Enjoy! I know I did...

Tartan is Weathered MacGregor, Briar is Christmas Pipe- Italy 1992, Tobacco is a Savannah blend I picked up while there on my honeymoon (I really wish I could differentiate from the blend which type of tobacco's were used...).

    Cheers,
    Wesley
