It's early, I'm still waking up. . . so I can confess, that you had me going there for a moment. . .

Rutherford's "Sarum" (which I recently re-read) has an interesting take on the building of Stonehenge. And I well remember how fascinated I was by the Time magazine cover article when "Stonehenge Decoded" was published.

All Right, I have finished reading Peter Berresford Ellis's book, The Druids. It was a very interesting introductory history on the Druids and ancient Celtic cultures. It discusses Stonehenge intertwined with the discussion of the reinvention of the Druids and the Celts over the last couple of hundred years (212-280).

He does use quite a few sources and provides alturnative arguments on several subjects. Hopefully I will no longer be stupid in regard to some of the discussion of the Druids and ancient Celtic cultures.
