Cheers Terry and well done mate!!!
Thanks mate!
The kilt is finished and on its way (hence the jones ramping up to high levels! ). We decided (this time) to pleat to the line in the red field for the brighter look. Maybe the next one?
My other kilt was also Lochcarron Strome heavyweight, I love their tartan! I must confess though, I am quite taken by HOE's muted Macdonald of Glencoe, and wouldn't mind a kilt in that tartan.
Thanks for pointing out the official website. Yes, I know it well. I have corresponded many times with our chief, Mac Mhic Raonuill. He's a very accessible & friendly individual. I look forward to one day meeting him.
Thanks again Kyle, my best to you & your lovely wife!

Here's a pick of one of my customers who ordered a box pleat in that very same tartan a few weeks ago. It is absolutely stunning!! Great choice!

I have joined your jonesing queue Terry, though mine is a little further away than yours. Perhaps when I see your imminent arrival, it will quell my anxiety somewhat. Hope it arrived as planned.
