Universal kilt symbol?
This may be a silly question, but I'm looking for some kind of universal symbol that represents the kilted, besides an intricately detailed tartan kilt!
examples are skull and crossbones = pirates
cowboy hat = cowboy..
I'm sure you get the picture.
any ideas?

We could adopt the one now being used on ladies rest rooms. Hardly ever see a lady in a skirt. They're not using it.

That's what I was thinking. The only thing I would add to the picture is having him hold a sword.

... and all I found was this similar design
If this graphic is your work, I'd be interested in licensing it for KiltWear. Or you can set up your own shop; I've had good experience with Cafe Press as both a buyer and seller.

Well, the cowboy hat was worn by cowboys and the skull 'n' crossbones was flown by pirates.... aside from kilts, kilties are most associated with the pipes, so unless you want our emblem to be the bare-butted kiltie (blind, I'm blind!) to be our logo, I'd say the choice having the best shot at success would be the pipes, player or no.
