Dee, I like the Birkenstocks for summer! I love Birks and was just looking for a winter alternative in their catalog. I have some Boston clogs, but somehow, I don't think they look quite right with kilt hose. There's just nothing like Birks!

The Ireland's National is one of my favourite tartans

The oufit I wore to chanter practice last night:

I know there are those who say that the hose should be pushed down, but at 20º F/-7º C, I pull the hose UP!

And while the tripod was up (mostly), the natural hemp RKilt:

It's a little wrinkled, but I've been wearing it for a week at this point.
I normally wear my contemporary kilts with hiking socks, but I didn't feel like switching from the hose.

Perhaps too casual... Clogs and a kilt. Dog with pink bandana makes for a great accessory.

Some days, you really want to stand out. Irish National and bright purple shirt is probably a bit more casual than some folks here could stand. I hope those people have mercy on me.

My wife likes this picture. The socks are actually grey, but never look that way in pictures. They are actually quite a match with a charcoal gray sweatshirt that I wear quite often.
