It was great to get so many of the kilted together in one place! I enjoyed meeting some of you for the first time, and getting re-acquainted with old friends. The food was very good, and the dessert... just ask Uncle Ricky! The conversation flowed, as did the beverages. After our post-dinner cigar, many of the rabble headed home. McMurdo, ccga3359 and I headed off to an Irish Pub in Hess Village, and had a pint. The tartan of the waitress's mini kilt was very close to the Henderson I was wearing. She and I took a couple minutes to sample/compare fabric weights and tartans. It was most enlightening!
To all those who can make it to a SOKS event, please make the effort! It's well worth it!
