Retail clerk in a mall tobacco shop, northern Virginia.
I've been nearly 30 years in telecom (first military [AF], then various organizations) until the bottom fell from the dot com world in 2001. Want to get back into it: I can use the $$$,

I work way too damn much.
My own little business is on the dirty side of the fiber addiction for fiber artists and hand spinners:
Shearing (this is a suri alpaca)
I do washing and carding (this is my carder)
The carder produces roving (fiber in a loose rope-like form that can be spun into yarn) and winds it onto a bobbin to form a center-pull ball called a bump. From the bump one spins yarn - in this case a single on my drop-spindle:
For my day job I do hardware and firmware engineering for embedded control.

Currently I am a refrigeration tech (ammonia). Certified first aid, CPR, hazmat (ammonia techs are required to be state certified hazmat).
Wore my 1 and so far only kilt to work for the first time today . Though I opted to change into insulated coveralls to chip ice off the evaporators in the -20f penthouse today.
Also worked in explosive packing/handling, metal fab/welding, and many years in retail food (grocery store), from bagger up to management.
wsk- my wife worked for a woolen mill for a few years. Weaving, sewing, and office. Was the best job she ever had, til it closed down.

Well, let's see, I used to fly helicopters till somebody actually read the answers I gave on my enlistment contract. "Let me get this straight, you're going to let me fly, I get to kill people, AND your going to pay me?"
Then I used to design yachts till I told my boss, "What do you mean how can I tell it's a good design? Do this. Lay your hand real lightly here on this hull. Now slowly walk to the other end of the boat. Did that make a tingle, you know, DOWN THERE? That's how I know it's a good design!"
Now I sew skirts for men with no gender confusion.
