Thank you all.
Lady Chrystel, even though holder of a diploma in Haute Couture, is not a "traditional" kiltmaker in the sense used in this Forum. Nevertheless, she is very professional and would enjoy making Double Box Pleat kilts for those of you who would like to have them.
The elegant way for those, at this point, would be to get the fabric shipped directly to our house in France. The cost for the making would then be of $200. + shipping (registered oversea mail.)
best,
Robert

Okay Robert, I've got more than a few things/projects to take care of first, but later in the year we'll have to see what I can work out!

That kilt is amazing! Beautifully layered and amazingly complex, but it is subtle and modest about its complexity. I'm stunned.
Also, where did you take those photos? You look like you're in a museum!

OK, I am going to start the search for the right tartan. Robert, good Sir, I shall PM you.
PS. I love the "action" shot, by the way!

Now that is NICE......oh yeah. That's a one-of-a-kind!
VERY nice job, Lady Chrystal!
I'd love to see a double box-pleat done in the Jacobite Tartan, one that would be very very appropriate for a Frenchman, or French woman, to wear!
