My wife and I recently stayed here for her Christmas party. It was cheaper than staying downtown, and was right beside a skytrain station. The hotel is connected to a good Irish pub as well, which would make a good venue for another kiltsnight. Those 2 person soaker tubs don't hurt either......

I also like to see every one in the same hotel/motel. Every one will have more fun and more interactions.

Raphael and I are getting together in the next couple of days and we'll be doing some planning for The Gathering.
We talked today about the possibility of getting group rates at a hotel if I book the dinner there. That info will be available after we book the venue, of course.
We'll also be discussing advertising, getting on some local TV shows, newspaper articles, etc.
I'm hoping to get some celebrities and firefighters to model the kilts in the fashion show, along with a few of you guys. (I gotta see Ham on the runway!) Then I'll auction them off with all proceeds going to charity.
I will be posting a page on my site as soon as I get some firm dates. It will have a calendar of events and info for each function.

You're ON, Terry! What's being auctioned though? Is it the kilts, or the guys modelling them? I'm afraid I'd be rather fussy about who 'buys' me - Charity or no Charity!!

Ah! That's what we are looking for I am sure no-one wants to rush you 'organising' guys (I know what a headache it can be), but those of us who have to arrange International travel, and accommodation virtually blind, have to act pretty soon. Thanks for all you are doing....

Right lads,
Raphael and I put our heads together today and came up with a general plan.
There could be some alterations as to activities but the dates are there for trip planning and they will stay the same.
Here's the page. Best bookmark it because I will be updating it as things progress.

Most of the links are still to blank pages but the intent was to get the dates up for trip planning.
I'd like to add to the page a list of places that people will be travelling from, so I'd appreciate a PM or an e-mail informing me of your location and how many will be attending. This is just for the web page. I'll be asking about dinners and events in the future.

On August 3rd and 6th, there will be Firework Display in Vancouver. It s a very popular Summer event.
