Ya know what? I enjoy talking about this stuff with all of you. The bike forum I belong to is good. All they want to talk about is what else shiny to add to the bike, or what can make it faster. You guys talk about real things to be concerned with.

I haven't rode in a very long time. I wasn't the weekend rider. Doctor by day, biker by weekend type. No... For me I was hooked on cafe racers... I didn't much care for cruiser type bikes. I liked Honda CBRs and what not. I didn't much care for long straight aways. I went after tight twisty mountain roads (High in the Cascade Mountains of Washington and the Pacific Coast highway) S curves, and any nightmarish corkscrew road that I had heard about. Leaning down around a curve with your handlebars 2 inches from the ground on a track is one thing... Doing the same on some mountain switchback is a whole different thrill ride. If the words "chicken strips" mean anything to you, you will know what I am talking about.

Funny... People sitting around talking about what they can add to their bikes... I was always concerned with what I could take OFF of my bike and still have it function. Strip every ounce off that you could. Make the bike just a little more nimble, a little more balanced, a little faster, any little thing to make it better.

Oh man I miss riding so much that it hurts. I don't think I could even hold up a bike no more because of my gimpy leg. I am not so sure I could even operate the shifter because of how my left foot is. That makes me sad. Really sad.

JUST MAKE SURE TO WIPE IT INTO A FINE, TRANSPEARANT FILM!!!!!
DO NOT LEAVE AS A LATHER!!!! (minor vision probelm, esp. at speed)

Used to be a car racer trick too. Illegal (if discovered) in most series/organizations, some creams are flamable, BAD in an SA helmet (full of flame retatdant materials and designed for repeated multiple impacts one would get strapped in a seat and roll cage).

    Real people attract real people
Go, have fun, don't work at, make it fun! Kilt them, for they know not, what they wear. Where am I now?

Kilts on a motorcycle? I wonder if that's ever been seen at the Buffalo Chip.

Which is why we don't wear kilts on bikes. As good as we ride, we are surrounded by idiots.

Hey Dread, if you had to put a number, any number, on a roadracer, namely a vintage 350 Honda roadracer, what would it be? ;)
