I have been knitting a good bit this weekend and I have about an inch to go before I begin the sideways cabled cuff on the second sock. I made Yeti try it on and they should fit, which relieves me greatly.

String
Do you have any suggestions where can I find information on knitting sideways cable cuffs? I like the looks of the cuffs but haven't figured out how it done.

Well, I kinda figured it out from looking at knitted on borders for lace shawls, and I am contemplating re-doing the first cuff, it was awfully tight on Yeti, who has slightly thinner legs than Alan H.
I have been worrying and worrying about it, which says to me that I should do it just to make me more satisfied with what I send out.

Cacunn, the book 'Designs for Knitting Kilt Hose and Knickerbocker Stockings' by Veronica Gainford has instructions for a couple of cable band cuffs. It's a good purchase for $15 on Amazon.

Did you not just read the post that I'm re-doing the cuff on the first sock? That means it will be even longer.
