I most sorry to hear that. It is never pleasant in that situation. Could it be something physical? Sounds as if help may be needed.

Not too long ago I got my first kilt in the mail. My wife's first reaction was "did you buy that **** skirt". I told her yes, and her responce was "where are you giong to wear it".
So I told her "around my waist"...after that neither of us could keep from laughing. My wife is full blood Native American and although a kilt is not part of her tradition, she is supportive. Over the years we have had some cultural hurdles jump on both side...this one was a non-event.

I've got to use that as a toast somewhere! I may just have to throw a dinner party for the excuse to make a toast.

Men in Kilts are such poets! meinfs, you rock.

I,m a (lady,s) kiltwearer, tried to get my hubby in a kilt, but he,s still not convinced.
How i think about a man in a kilt?
I think it,s stunning and it says a lot about a man, just doing what he feels like.

Do you have a sister by any chance? A single sister that likes men in a kilt?

    Just asking, you understand.

I'll let you know when I figure out who she is. However, since I only wear pants to work (and rumor has it I may not have to do that much longer either) I'm gonna go out on a limb and say she is probably not going to have a major problem with it.

My beautiful wife is not British and thinks I'm stark, staring bonkers anyway so delving into Kilt wearing with unparalleled enthusiasm was not a great surprise to her. When my first kilt arrived (my plain black one) she'd tried it on before I had but decided it was too long, too loose (she's a slim, 5'3") and not really her style. I am grateful for this, otherwise I suspect my Kilt would have become HER kilt(s) and that would be the end of that adventure...

She does like my Glengarry mind, and I'm worried because it really suits her.
