10 best war films--ever!

Almost all of my top ten have been listed, so I'll add a picture from my "reserve" list:
Kolberg made in Germany in 1942 is about the defense of the Prussian city of Kolberg during the Napoleonic wars. Shot in colour, it is the German equivalent of Gone With The Wind.

And while not a war film per se one of my favorites about the insanity of war as a whole; King of Hearts. Still a great picture (get the orginal non-dubbed version).

what no votes for Fly Boys? Maybe not the greatest war movie, but I find that stories about WW1 fighter pilots very interesting. Brave men they were!
