Sadly, less than 5 times per year. I find it odd, since I live in a cosmopolitan area that attracts a lot of tourists (Hello, I work 10 minutes from Disneyland).
I would love to see more.

Certainly less than 5 times each year. Other than kilt night, or a the Jiggs Dinner, I don't think I've ever seen another in the Toledo area (except when I ran over to JAnderson's house) and I think there were only a grand total of 2 kiltwearers on my last trip to Dayton, and I was one of them. (the other already posted in this thread)

I'm surprised a bit by how seldom most people here see kilts in public.
I work at Disneyland and I see men walking around in kilts regularly- not every day, but once a week I would say.
Nearly always the kilts are Utilikilts, and usually the men are from here on the West Coast, particularly the Pacific Northwest (which goes to figure because that's where Utilikilts are from).
More rarely I see tartan kilts, sometimes "casual" or "sport" kilts, sometimes traditional kilts.

For the last five years outside Highland Games, approximately 35, 4, 35, 35, and 0 respectively.

In Northern Texas, I'm it (besides a couple pipers). The pipers only wear them to gigs and I dont think business is very good right now. I saw one, one time, in Seattle a few years ago. Does that count?

Maybe 5 times or less. If that. But it seems whenever I go out kilted I always get asked where someone can get one, I wish I could wear that, etc. Its a shame that others talk a good game but don't follow through. It would be great to see several others kilted away from highland games/holidays etc
