    Oh I will!!!

Funny thing, when my wife was pregnant with him, and she would get sick because he was running wild insider her, she would go put on one of my Pantera tapes and he would calm down. Which is cool, since I used to party w/ them when they were a bar band.

Maiden was on again last Friday night, and my 15month old son, when he heard the music raised his fist in the air and pumped his arms in true Heavy Metal fashion...
    And a new generation rises!

My son is a third gen. My dad got me into Sabbath, AC/DC, etc, as well as all kinds of old school music- bluegrass, folk, classical- and I'm doing the same for my kids. Or my son at least. My daughter seems to think that hip hop is the only music of value, sadly. Hopefully she'll grow out of that eventually...

I saw them a couple of times w/ their first lead singer, Terry Lee. Then when Phil joined they got way heavier. I have their first album w/ Phil, "Power Metal". This was like 2 yrs before "Cowboys From Hell". It really show the birth of that "Pantera Style" Metal that they birthed.

Yes there were many a nights where I'd be head-banging right next to Dime & Phil w/ the opening band. Pretty awesome days.

Ya, Hawk, I'm into all kinds of music too. My father, on the other hand, hates all music except a few selections from the fifties.

I'm way into clasic jazz, as well as, classical and metal. What ever...

I just dig out my copy of Arise by Sepultura. This thread put me in the mood for it.

Here's that Randy Rhoads, Quiet Riot, Youtube footage I was talking about back there.

Keep in mind that this is before he played for Ozzy.

Zack Wiles, I think that's how you spell it, does sometimes wear UK kilts. And of course Zack picked up where Rhoads, as well as, Brad Gillis left off.
