How Do you Observe Tartan Day?

I was at the University and my Department only briefly yesterday, kilted, but I went to a faculty event today, trousered (deliberately trying to be inconspicuous), and was asked repeatedly why I was not wearing my kilt. My favorite comment: "Don't tell me that you're only going to wear a kilt for special occasions!" I assured them otherwise.

I would gather up the photos, look them over and see what else would be added and follow up with the sale, but putting the wife up for sale rather than the gear. Just a thought.

The neighbor across the street saw me leaving yesterday (kilted). He asked, "Are you going to a parade?"

I replied, "I'm a one-man parade today!"

The staff at the sushi place got a chuckle at first (though one girl got it). My kids are always proud to be with me when I'm kilted.
