I understand your feelings, but then, how can we be angry at "stupid?" You can't legislate either intelligence or knowledge.

Stupidity cannot be cured with money, or through education, or by legislation. Stupidity is not a sin, the victim can't help being stupid. But stupidity is the only universal capital crime; the sentence is death, there is no appeal, and execution is carried out automatically and without pity.

Joe,
Repeat after me:
Lord, grant me the serenity to accept the things I can not change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of those I had to kill because they pissed me off.

Seems an appropriate time to revisit the Darwin Awards!
Also to quote someone's (I cannot find whose) signature block: "Only two things are infinite: the Universe and human stupidity. And I'm not too sure about the Universe..." ~Albert Einstein

The Highland Festival and Games this past weekend in metro Chicago, Friday and Saturday, too many smiles, winks and brief comments to count, even in the hotel...
...but then there were likely 4000+ men and a surprising number of ladies in kilts.

Thank you to Father Bill, Mike in Dayton, Brother Falldown, CDNSushi, Dennis, and Macca for your words of encourgement and comfort. Loved the Heinlein qoute and the revisting of Lord, grant me the serenity prayer, also the Darwin Awards and Albert Einstein.
The duct tape comments are great too. If she had said anything to me I may have pointed out that it wasn't long ago she couldn't have worn those shorts in public. Why is it that it doesn't matter what a woman wears she's ok. Boxers, Pajamma bottoms, shorts, modified suit(pants suit), but I wear a kilt with a long history and I'm a pervert? O.K. I'll stop now.

Pervert? Prevert? Postvert? Considering the history, perhaps the latter.
