Mattie, enjoyed visiting with the two of you at the Tavern, my prayers are with you that she will move into better health and continue

I spoke with Turpin on several occasions about a fur sporran. I sent him a coyote skin which was too brittle and a mink stroller that could not be "fixed." I really wanted a hand made sporran made by the best. if any of the rabble has a Turpin sporran they would dare to part with please let me know. Best regards Mattie

It might be worth a mention that at the reception following Turpin's memorial service, after having mentioned my sadness at not having had the funds to get one in time, his daughter told me she had been working with him making sporrans. Having the supplies and tools at her disposal, she planned to continue making them using his designs and ideas.
