    Plain Piccies

Finally got around to a couple of photos, not the best shots, sorry Rocky, but they'll have to do for now.

The kilt is really comfy to wear, it has a nice "swish" factor and I can see myself wearing it more.

It's so odd to watch summer arrive where you are as winter is coming in here.

What is the white line along the hem of the kilt?

Stunning backgroud Graham, but that is also one stunnig kilt to show it off in, well done Rocky. (Don't tell Graham he looks good in it though)

Yes, spring is in the air, summer on the way! I'll post lots of photos of me on the beach when you are all in the depth of winter

The white line is the thread on the selveged edge. I'm not really thrilled about it. Rocky said that was the way the cloth came and I intend to colour it with a felt pen on his suggestion.

Rocky, I have still to find out what the material is, did you say it's PV? is it coated in any way?

    Rocky,

Nice kilt! Oh, and Graham you look pretty good wearing it! ;)

BTW, what does the t-shirt say? Looks like a ".com" website, but I can't make out the whole thing.

Hey Graham... the Kilt looks like it fits great! I'm very pleased with the finished look (in these pics). BTW... The material IS PV and is coated in teflon.

The white thread and fringe are the selvedge edge of the cloth. The mill told me that the edge was a finished edge (like other solid PV's we get from them), but it came fringed. I'm not HAPPY about the fringe, but it's better looking (IMHO) than hemming it and having all of the pleats kick out at the bottom.

The t shirt is the USA Kilts.com shirt.

    Thanks for the pics Graham!

    Hey Rocky!!, kiltmaker extraordinaire!!
I am glad it's PV, teflon, ...off to work I go, wel, not quite, it's nearly midnite here

I've had some good comments about the kilt, which is something in a very conservative area!

thanks again for a another fine kilt!!
