You mean you placed the order on Thursday, Nov. 18, and it got there on Monday, Nov. 15? Wow, that IS good. I think if that happened to me I might not actually order it when Thursday rolls around to see if I end up getting it without paying for it. But that would probably mess with the whole time-space continuum.

Unfortunately his shipping outside the States isn't so fast......I ordered some things from Scotland and from Jerry at the same time, I received the stuff from Scotland in 8 days (actual days, not working days), but the stuff from Stillwater took nearly three weeks I think the squirrels got caught at customs or something)

Thanks for reminding me. Money's really tight right now, but I'll talk with my wife and see what we can do. Sounds like it'll be a good time.

I hope his usually time bending comes through for me. I ordered one of those nice looking antique brass cantles he's got. I want to make a sporran for my parent's 40th this coming weekend, and I need to get crackin'!!

Warp speed
I talked to Jerry Tuesday about a special order. He said it might be in the large shipment they had just received. I got it in today's mail (Thursday). So in 48 hours, the kilt was found in the shipment, identified as mine, packaged, labeled, taken to the post office, sorted to go to the DC area, travelled from Minnisota to DC, sorted to my local post office, and loaded onto my postal route's truck by my letter carrier. (They used to be called postmen, but with non-gender specific terminology they are now called person persons ). Wait, I tell a lie, it was 40 hours to the loading on the truck, I know he loads his truck at 5:00am. There is no wait time in that process at all, the package must never have come to rest.

I have mild obsessive tendencies and I really like having tracking numbers when I am expecting a package. (Particularly kilt-related packages!) While tracking numbers aren't available by default with Jerry's shipping, I never need them because his shipping is so quick. Usually < 48 hours.

The last order I placed with Jerry seemed like as soon as I paypal'd the account It was at my step. It was weird. Good but weird. Which further begs the question, Does time move faster in Minnesota?

Heck if I know, but I got my cantel today and started making my new sporran! Quick as always!
