Victoria MacKenzie Jacket
This is my first attempt at posting pictures. (picture size) I wanted to share my newly converted tweed jacket. This is a Victoria MacKenzie conversion and it turned out splendid . If you have a jacket that you are thinking about converting, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend having her do the work. She is a member on this forum. I've only been out and about in the Kilt a dozen times and I am still accessorizing. So it's not much, just everything I've got! And some of it was borrowed. The pretty face, that's my wife.

Re: Victorie MacKenzie Jacket
I have 2 of Victoria's jackets and they certainly are fantastic. For one of the 2 I had requested blue. She was extremely helpful in locating one through her thrift sources and then creating a gorgeous jacket. I get compliments on them all the time. She is a warm and kind lady.
BTW, I took the liberty of posting the pic directly for you.

Victoria
Just because you are paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you.

Great looking Jacket!!! How do I contact this remarkable seamstress? I do have several jackets that could be modified for a "new life"
Cheers,

I'd send her a PM, she's posted right above you (vmac3205).

Re: Victorie MacKenzie Jacket
As a matter of fact, I have a khaki Italian suit in which the trousers are completely done for, now. But, instead of trashing the whole suit, I was thinking of converting the jacket to a kilt jacket.

Re: Victorie MacKenzie Jacket
A very handsome jacket. Congratulations! It goes well with that good-looking kilt too, ... and your lovely wife. In fact, your entire outfit is very dapper.
I have two, too, ... of Victoria's jackets - one a black poly/wool blend and the other a dark-brown Harris tweed. She did a wonderful job on each of them. I plan to post pictures in vivo, so to speak, but I'm bad about finding the "right" picture.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

If Victoria did it, it was done right.
