Time goes by fast
At the moment I have not worn a pair trousxxx for 2 weeks 5 days .. just my cilts, doing everything I normally do in day to day life.
I am lucky my mrs and friends dont pay any attention to it and just let me get on with it.
Not that this is ground breaking news, but I thought I mention it ... by the way, during this time I can honestly say I have recieved no comments from anyone about my cilt.
Down to some serious personal rehearsing now as we have a major festival to play this weekend.

Re: Time goes by fast
Good luck to you and your mates this weekend! Do you happen to have any samples of your music available? You tube or iTunes or something similar?

I wish I could be there to see/hear you and the rest of Circle of Fire, but it's a looooong way to Wales from New Mexico.
Have a great show and festival. Let us know how it goes and post some pics, if you can.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

That's at the Porthcawl festival isn't it Derek? I noticed you listed on the line up. I'm onshift otherwise I would have liked to have gone to that? Don't forget the pictures.
Are you going to Beverley in June?

Re: Time goes by fast
Good luck and have fun this weekend. Pics or video would be great.
And congrats on making the transition (at least for now) from p@nts to the cilt as daily wear. I cannot get there yet but envy those who can and have. The two periods of continuous kilt wearing in my past were both on 9-10 day trips to Scotland, and after 9 straight kilt wearing days each trip, it was a bit of a challenge to get used to being back in the bifurcated below waist wear world again. Maybe you will not ever have to return there. Good luck.

Re: Time goes by fast
Derek, I do not think I have ever seen you in t------s anyway, either in person or in photographs but 'well done' all the same.
Now then: Circle of Fire. Is this a newly formed group or something you've been keeping from me? Apart from Elaine and you, I see Gordon is included but there are two faces I do not recognise. As you might imagine, I'd love to be there in Porthcawl for the gig but, obviously, I'm still unable to travel such distances. Ever hoping I will be able to get to see you, or for you both to come to Storrington, perhaps next year.
Best to you all,
Take care,
Ham.

I must learn to look before I leap! Sorry Derek, since posting the above I have looked at your new website (www.fire-circle.net) where all is explained. I wondered if the third chap was Davy and now I know it is. I did not, however, recognise Moira Jayne although I met her previously at Rumney. A really great line-up and I wish you well.
Take care,
Ham.

Re: Time goes by fast
Thanks guys for your wishes. I will defn take some pics. There will be some sound bites on the site shortly once my pal has sorted some technical issues out.
Tomorrow (Thurs) will be a mini party .. twill be my third week without wearing jeaxx.
I know in a few weeks time there is a caving trip planned which would mean me having to slam on some old trousxxx ... but I am thinking I might just stay on the surface as part of the support team so I dont have to break this cycle I started.
If it was one of the easier trips I could have worn my cilt

Great to hear from you Ham .. n yep we really look forward to coming to Storrington ..
