Christmas in March
Background note: My building has become the set for the film "A Christmas Story 2". The first one was about Ralphie and the red rider bb gun
To my surprise Christmas has arrived this week. Walking out of my place I was greeted by piles of snow....ummmm, it has been well above freezing for the last week, no snow overnight.. yet it was not there when I went to bed!
Looking up and down the street I realized that I had been transported to Christmas 1946. The street lamps were covered in holly, wooden barrels were piled here and there. A giant nut-cracker is guarding my front door!
Even stranger... I was no longer in Vancouver, Canada. US flags flew from the building. Was it that my whisky supply had gone bad?

Walking over to a shop window... is it? could it be? Yes it is......a Red Ryder carbine-action, two hundred shot Range Model air rifle with a compass in the stock and this thing which tells time!!!!
