    Seaside Stroll Today

Near Montara State Beach, CA -- first wearing of my first tweed kilt, made by Matt Newsome in the Rob Roy (Film) tartan. Got numerous compliments on it from others on the trails, and one woman said it seemed "very appropriate for the locale".

That's nice, Dale. This could be used as an ad to sell kilts, sticks, shirts, boots, sunglasses or vacations. Beautiful pic, and I'm really loving that blackthorn.

This looks great, Dale! The kilt does seem to match the locale pretty well. I especially like the pic you posted in Alan's "Action Kilt" challenge thread.

Excellent photo. That tartan really lends itself to causal/hiking duty. And I, too, am impressed by the blackthorn stick.

I saw these earlier on FB, looking great Dale! That really is a wonderful tweed- one I'm definitely adding to my "Want" list.

It looks like that kilt was made to be in that environment. That is a great looking kilt.

Er well, okaaaaay, I have to ask. Who is Chuck Norris?

Perhaps we had better not go to the extremes of the "Lebowski" thread, here!
