Feedback in Kilt liners - tricot

I ordered and recieved two kilt liners from G. Lieberman & Sons, Ltd. $22 each - one Size for all.
A C352 nylon tricot and a C353 sheer nylon. Nylon is cool but not absorbant - so much for protecting the wool kilt from skin oil and sweat.
As they come there is no flare from waist to hem. And this is a hobble skirt. I washed them and then stretched out the hem - the hem stitching is non stretch so I broke most of it loose - kind of stupid to use stretch fabric and non stretch hem stitching. I dosen't seem there is a kilt wearer in the house where these were designed. Why have the freedom of pleats with a hobble kilt liner underneath. They are selling these on E-bay also.
The tricot is sheer and the sheer is transparent - LOL
I sent them a mini tutorial on good kilt liner design and fabric choice. Grumble Grumble -

Pants is only a present tense verb here. I once panted, but it's all cool now.
