    Kilted outing

    My wife and I (kilted) went to a local Italian restaurant with my best friend and his wife. It was her ??th birthday. Was greeted by a very nice young lady that showed us to our table. As she turned to leave she said "Love your kilt and your style. I wore my USMC Leatherneck with a Khaki shirt. After our meal we went out for ice cream for the guys and chocolate for the gals. The man behind the counter asked about my kilt and had nothing but good things to say. All in all a great night with friends.

    Very cool. I haven't received mine yet, and the wife thinks it shouldn't be worn except to Celtic type festivals and events, so I have some work to do to convince her...

    Wore my black Watch kilt to church today and had two women say how much they like it when I am kilted. Went out to lunch with my wife and some friends and no advirse reactions to the kilt. My wife asked me today if I wanted another kilt for fathers day, boy I love her!!!!

    The Leatherneck tartan is good one!

    Jerry at Stillwater has some decent wool scarves if you ever want to get her one to match your kilt.
