Thigh Chafing
Being a Florida boy all of my life has taught me some important lessons about travelling on my own two feet in the dead of summer: Without proper protection, your legs can get pretty chafed up after a lot of walking around in humidity and heat. I've only gone commando once on such an excursion (in a pair of old sweatshorts, mind), and I remember needing a lot of Gold Bond and Ice Straddling when the day was done.
So, if I'm going to be going into the joy of Kilt walking, what does one do to combat Thigh Chafing? I do know I'm a bit overweight, and I intend to work off some weight before my kilt purchase, but I know this problem afflicts more than the heftier of us; I would like to hear some opinions, advice, and (quite frankly) some amusing anecdotes about such situations.
