It would, hadn’t thought of that. Would also fit with Nova Scotia tartan. My. kilt is blue background and it pairs nicely(I think) with that, so the NS tartan could work too.

Michael, thank you, I have gotten some nice compliments when I have worn it out. I am self taught, lots of YouTube videos, old articles from sporran makers, and lots of trial and error on simpler projects (and I mean LOTS of trial and error). leatherworker.net is also an excellent forum, they have some excellent leather workers that give good feedback when asked.
