Scottish solution to a natural habit. A practical demonstration.

A "friend" sent me this picture after reading an earlier thread on the subject. This time its not whisky in the glasses, but some fine and memorable Champagne. But the effect is the same, touching one's face with one's hands is indeed very tricky with a glass in each hand.

A wedding trip to France, I think Jock? It also explains the two-cheek kiss, with arms (and glasses) akimbo. In Switzerland it's three-cheeks, just in case you missed one along the way.

Actually Rex the wedding in question took place not a million miles from Arbroath, although interestingly at one time Normandy was a possibility.

Some of you might be interested in the real context that the first picture in this thread was taken from.
