    75th CEF sporran

Is this is a post-war aftermarket veteran thing? Very interesting anyhow, and very inexpensive.

The sporran itself is Nicoll Brothers.

75th Battalion CEF (Mississauga) Battalion was a WWI era Scottish Regiment. They were dissolved 1920ish after the arrived home from an occupation stint in Belgium. They then became the Toronto Scottish Regiment ... still an active Reserve Canadian Army regiment (like your National Guard or TA).

Mississauga and other nearby counties around Toronto, comprising a population of nearly 2 million is now represented by another Highland Regiment ... The Lorne Scots of Canada: also an active Reserve Canadian Army regiment.
