Found an online source for cheap(er) tartan material

I was looking through some old threads on a forum dedicated to another hobby of mine and came across this page. I thought that these tartans might be a cheaper alternative for a first time kilt-maker.

Some of these are named tartans...not sure if they all are? The weight is listed as "medium." It also says nothing about the type of selvedge, but I would guess that you'd have to tuck it into a hem. The first three choices (listed as 100% wool) are straight woven and not ideal for kilt making. However, the remaining ones (listed as "wool blend") are all twill-woven just like kilt fabric.

Don't know if anybody has any experience with this company or not...I DON'T. I just figured I'd pass along something I found as a possible help to those of you looking for inexpensive fabric for a crack at kilt-making.

Those might be extremely small setts. Two quarters for the Wallace (WPT-108)

What would be the tartans WPT 103 and WPT104. They look to have bigger set. Would be nice source for me if located in Europe.

Mipi, they do offer international shipping, but then again the total cost will probably not be that sheap.
