    Well as your wrapping is not the same up and down as it is side to side it would not be a true Tartan.

    So that would require us to pleat it so that only the red showed.

    Well, my wrapping is about as atrocious as it gets, which is funny as I am able to create an authentic detailed recreation of a science fiction based costume, but I have a difficult time folding paper and taping it in a crisp and neat fashion.

    I do not know if I have what it takes to pleat a kilt if my wrapping is an indicator.
