    Number of kilts

A thread has sparked a thought

We are nearly 300 members here on the forum

Question: How many kilts in Tartan and Non-Tartan do we Own (Not on Order actually own)

    I'll start

    1 x Tartan...Modern Gunn

I think it would be fun to count to see how many we have between us.
    All the Best.....David.

Six plain home-made, mainly lightweight for summer, good enough to be worn in public.
Nine Scottish tartans (Wilson, Ross, Stewart grey, Robertson, Buchanan, Kinlonch Anderson, Gordon dress, Black Watch, in descending order of preference). And a cotton USAkilt whose name I’ve forgotten.
    And one skirt!
    17.
(off subject: I also have a few pairs of trousers. While turning out a cupboard the other day, I discovered two pairs with moth-holes!)

    Martin,

I have three kilts. Two wool casuals in the Macneil of Barra tartan, and a Polyvis Sportkilt in Blackwatch tartan.

    Lessee... I have:

Graphite PK in 13 oz cotton
Jalapeno PK in 13 oz cotton
Khaki PK in 13 oz. cotton
Brown PK in 13 oz cotton
    Dessert Marpat PK poly/cotton
    Woodland Marpat PK nylon/cotton
16 oz. Black wool 6 yard TFCK casual
Kinloch Anderson Corporate 13 oz traditional
Campbell of Argyll weathered 16 oz. traditional

    On order:

4 yard Bear Grizzly Cut Warrior tartan
8 yard Bear in Ramsey old blue
8 yard Dark Island traditional from Geoffrey/TFCK
Olive PK in 13 oz. cotton

Since my time on this list, that darned Maple Leaf tartan has really been growing on me. If I like the PV once I get my bear kilts, I am considering ordering Maple Leaf and saffron kilts from him. I feel as though I presently have an embarrassment of riches where kilts are concerned, but none are getting dusty in the closet.
