Here's why I ask: months ago, just as I was starting to take free pipe/chanter lessons through the local pipe band, they were ordering new kilts from House of Edgar, who had come verrrrrrry highly recommended. Before, each member had worn their own tartan. A year or two ago, the decision was made to get matching kilts.

When the kilts arrived, the kilts didn't match the swatches that had been sent. The kilts didn't even come close to fitting anyone -- it was like they got our band's measurements mixed up with someone else's. It was just awful.

The pipe major made mutiple attempts to e-mail, then to call, and when he finally reached someone, they pretty much told him to take a hike. Well, after all, there is an ocean between us and them, right?

The bottom line is, everyone in the band had to have their kilt altered substantially, which is no cheap proposition.

Has anyone else ever had a problem even remotely this big with them?
