With everyone else thronging to the shopping malls on "Black Friday", it was an opportune time to to attend the relatively uncrowded opening day of this year's Great Dickens Christmas Fair. Given that this is San Francisco, it seems nearly everyone has a great assortment of costumes in their wardrobe. However, historical accuracy is never strictly observed at these events - it's all about having fun.

At the Adventurers Club one could listen to bombastic discourse on Victorian expeditions of discovery and the latest scientific knowledge.



Meeting up with Monkey@Arms and The Clever Little Monkey, we attempt to acquire the proper Victorian bearing.
