    The ghosts of Christmas.

All the walking builds up a thirst, so we retired to one of the many pubs.

Just around the corner was a Bohemian Club serving Absinthe. Fortunately they also had whisky.

Stepping outside, who should we meet but Kiltmbar (sans kilt) and an acquaintance with a special message for Panache.

Walkerk, Kiltmbar, The Lovely Ann, Monkey@Arms, and The Clever Little Monkey wish you all a Happy Christmas.

Great shots! Our Dickens event is next weekend, we've been speculating on how much steampunk we'll see there this year.

    More kilt content...

In its article about the Dickens Fair the next day, the San Francisco Chronicle showed a photo of one of the workers setting up the props, attired in whot looked to be a Utilikilt workman. Apparently, this was considered so unremarkable that no mention of any kilt was included in the caption or the story.

Another sign of acceptance of the kilt as just another clothing choice?

Here's that pic from the newspaper:

The boy and I had a great time. I'll try to post some more pics when my home internet connection is repaired.

    Best regards,

Great pictures it looked like a swell time. I wish we could have gone with you. The F-H.C.A.G. and I were thinking about going next Saturday. Sinbad was quite intrigued by all the Steam Punk stuff. Would you gentlemen recomend it for the kiddie winkies?

    Cheers
