Guilty kilts
Has everybody ever dealt with Guilty Kilts or purchased one?
You can find their collection on www.guiltykilt.com. They are primarily for the gay market, however their kilts look pretty good

They do look pretty nice! No cheaper than a traditional kilt, but they do have some interesting variations!

Pricey for off-the-rack
$400 + shipping + excise for a solid color kilt with a pocket in stock size
seems a bit steep to me.
Don't think Rocky has much to worry about.

Ya know, I kinda like the tailed one! That's pretty unique! The gardener one kinda looks like a dress, though... I'll pass on that!!

Maybe they come WITH the model? Then I could see it being a real value for some...
Personally, I have about 7 kilt makers I'd much rather buy from.

They may wish to take a moment and re-orient the photo on their website, it appears as though they buckle as a women's kilted skirt (on the wrong side...). One would think a kilt maker of any stature would ensure their advertising materials would be correct before they post them!

Thanks for your replies. I am basically looking for a modern kilt which sits lower on the hips than a traditional kilt. I have been also looking for a leather kilt but that seems to be very expensive indeed.
Any suggestions?

btw who is Rocky?

Rocky is the owner/proprietor of USA-Kilts, and a fine gent to do business with. You can click on his banner at the top of the page.
Their "casual kilt" is cut to ride like pair of jeans, and might be just what you're looking for. NOT available in leather, however....

Has anyone else noticed that the red PVC kilt has pleats that are "angled" instead of hanging straight down? Issues of photo mirror image aside, they seem to be hanging to "5:30" instead of straight down to "6:00".
