SoCalFerg wanted the tartan but was a bit concerned about the 'heat' of a 16 oz tartan in SoCal. We made him a 'Premier Kilt', but with a little less material than standard (not 8 yards).

Indeed. The only difference between the Ferguson and MacLaren tartans is the Ferguson has a white stripe where the MacLaren has a yellow. Other than that, they are identical.
