OK, boys and girls, this is the week before Stone Mountain, so it's getting very close. I spoke to Greg, owner of the Celtic Tavern, and we can take over the side part of the tavern if we want to. The weather promises to be clear, cool, and perfect for the weekend, so come on out and play. If you can make it, there'll likley be a goodly number of us standing outside so we won't be hard to find.

This will be our first time to Stone Mountain but our room is booked and we're rarin' to go. I see the Celtic Tavern is an "Irish Pub" -- I'll wear my new County Tyrone Tartan

I'll likely wear my Armagh. You'll love the Tavern. Very quiet and laid back. See you there.

Hey, we never picked a meet-up place at the Games. How about we plan to meet for a photo op and general introductions at the Tartan Museum tent at 1:00 on Saturday. That'll let us get past the opening cermonies, etc. as well as allow the sleepy heads to get there. If there's a better time or place, someone should sing out. ONe of the tents would be cooler as they would more likely be in the shade. Ha.
BTW, don't forget the Celtic Tavern gathering Friday night from 6:00-whatever. It's about a 20-30 minute drive from Stone Mountain; use you GPS. I am counting about 10 or so potentially coming Friday evening depending on final decisions, families, etc. I am really looking forward to seeing you guys (and your gals).
I also hope to have all my grandsons there, at least for a while, in their respective kilts.

Looking forward to meeting everyone on Saturday. I'll probably still be kilted from the dance competition in the morning!
Hoping to make the Celtic Tavern on Friday, but might be late. I think my host is taking me to the Sponsors Dinner. Maybe I can talk him into leaving early.....

My Wife, the Boy, and I will be ther Friday at The Celtic around 6p Friday evening.
Will plan on being there for the meet up Saturday at 1p at the STM tent for a meet and greet and photo op.
Will probably be spending half the rest of the day at the Forrester Clan tent, the only chance I get to rub elbows with those folks in any given year. Although Wife has determined that we as a family will be together scaling the heights of the big Stone sometime that afternoon.
Will look for you all there.

This will be our first time. Driving down from Virginia on Friday. Due to some uncertainty at work, we didn't pre-purchase tickets, but I understand we can drop by the Hilton and pick them up on Friday at the pre-purchase price before 5 PM. Does anyone have experience with this? Any gotchas?
