back to kilts
Forgive me father, for I sinned.....today i did wear shorts for a period of about 6 hours.
It was a messy job, I ended up with muck all over me and while i longed to get out of the shorts, I was secretly glad that the grease all over my shorts did not end up on a kilt.
As soon as i arrived home from the job I repented by immediately changing into a kilt (USAK 4 yd morrison tartan).
All is well with the world, and no, I'm not addicted, I can give up wearing kilts any time I want!!

Graham, for your penance:

Think shortbread and whiskey Graham.
We understand. Really we do.
The big man will no doubt forgive you too .
He's like that.

Graham,
I must admit that you were thinking of the kilt by not wanting to get it messed up. Good for you. At least you have come to your senses and are back in the kilt mode, I hope that this moment of bifurcation is only temporary, and will not last much longer!
For inspiration I must refer to our friend Hamish.

i wore shorts on juny 4th fer most of afternoon
i admit i wore a pair of old grubby shorts after about 3:00pm to about 10:00pm on the forth of july so that i would not have to worry about me kilt getting holes burnt in to it or worse from fireworks.
but that is the second time i have wore bifricated clothing since i got me utilikilt around the first or second week in june other than that i have been kilted all the time except when i am asleep.
thanks

You know, denial is the first step to acceptance...denial of shorts and full aceptance of kilts. (In my best Darth Vader voice) "Come over to the kilted side Luke...I mean Graham."
Don't worry Brother. I feel the same way after 10 hours in pants and when I get home it's heaven in more ways than one!

There's nothing like kilts.
There's nothing like kilts.
There's nothing like kilts.
There's nothing like kilts.
Be they ever so humble,
There's nothing like kilts!
