    wow

I have always been intrerested in African Dress. And the Massai are no one to mess with!

I like the under apron idea! Maybe it will help him stay cool in africa! Is this a common thing?

That's really a sharp looking kilt, your dad will be so pleased... I really like the cross cultural exchange... It's so fitting.

Found some pics I took while pulling this kilt together - maybe not the perfect examples but maybe of help someone doing theirs.

Have to say - thanks to Barb again - the book and my last kilt saw me through - although lets say that some of the techniques were a little off the beaten track - like the underapron extension!

I can't wait to show this to a friend who left this morning to return to her missionary assignment in Kenya.

Here are some pictures from Dad wearing the kilt at the Edinburgh IRB Sevens Tournament this weekend gone.

Cheering on Kenya in a match....

Explaining where the cloth came from to one of the players...

    Everybodies happy!

The kilt and how the cloth is traditionally worn....
