I very much liked "Wee Jock's Lament" as well. It was a very well-crafted episode.
The series as a whole was interesting to a kiltie, in that it showed the Highland attitude to the kilt. There were some folks who wore the kilt to events such as Lochdubh Day and the Ceilidh, but they also wore their kilts to go tramping the hills. The guy selling tartan out of the back of the VW minibus was interesting, too.
