My granddad was a Shriner all of my life and I don't know how many years before that. The local temple membership seems to be shrinking from what I understand.
However when I was recently in Alpharetta, GA I happened upon an Old Soldiers Day parade and the local Shriners with all their stuff took probably 20 min of the parade time. And the kids did love it!
