So monday night I got a wild idea and decided to order an Irish National tartan SWK standard to wear this weekend, so as to avoid any "hey, that's Scottish, this is an Irish day!", and other statements to that nature.

Ordered: Monday evening at work.
Received: Wednesday afternoon.

Is it possible that Jerry is actually Santa Claus? Maybe this is what he does the rest of the year.

Anyhow. So this is my first PV kilt. I wanted something in not-wool to wear this weekend, something that I wouldn't care if something got spilled on it, etc.. But wow, I tried it on, and it's actually nice! It's a bit lighter than my wool 6 yarder, but doesn't have that "plastic" feel that I thought it would.

I sincerely hope that nobody was injured when Jerry ripped open the space-time continuum to worm-hole my kilt to me. Next time I order, I'm keeping my eyes peeled for Rudolph's red nose or any other "X-files" brand of phenomenon. I wonder if there is some sort of radiation emitting from the kilt and/or the box it was sent in. I'll go and fetch me a Geiger counter.

Pics to be posted soon! But first, I must go to class, and remove basting stitches.
